Sports FAQ

Welcome to the Tushingham Website

Our sport of windsurfing offers something for everyone whether it’s an easy cruise in a gentle summer breeze, tearing down a speed course at fifty knots or busting a huge aerial off the lip of a giant wave.

Here at Tushingham every one of us has an infectious passion for the sport and between us there are decades of experience in all aspects of windsurfing. As a result, every Tushingham sail we produce is totally focused on ensuring maximum enjoyment of the sport whether the model is a specialist multi-cambered race tool or a light, easy freeride.

This time of year is a particularly busy period. The racing season has started, with British Champion Alan Jackson taking a good second place in the Clacton slalom event. Wave sailor John Hibbard is back from the Starboard photoshoot in Maui and embarking upon the UK wave tour, which has begun in Ireland. Paul Simmons is off to France for the Defi Wind to race 799 other sailors (!!!) and there’s a full calendar of UK demo events this season with new “demo-man” George behind the wheel of the van, which is crammed full of the latest designs. Check out the full list here.

We may be a British sail brand but news of our sails is reaching far and wide. Our international distribution now reaches into Russia through Boardsoul and with new outlets in Spain and Sweden, Tushingham is taking a real step up on the international stage. Wherever you are, we’ve the right sails for all of your windsurfing needs. If you need assistance just hit the “contact” button for personal advice on our products.

Wishing you great windsurfing this season!
