Tushingham Sales Ltd (TSL) has been the leading distributor of championship winning Watersports equipment since 1977 and is continuing to grow. The company is proud to distribute the world’s finest SUP and Windsurf products across the UK and Ireland.

Headquartered near Dartmouth, but with a strong requirement for national travel and weekend work. TSL are looking for an additional Red Paddle Co Sales Exec to maximise market penetration of SUP equipment in the UK. Representing a main point of interface with existing and potential accounts, this role has a key responsibility for achieving sales targets whilst ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. Knowledge of the Watersports industry ideally within Watersports Centres would be desirable. Experience and instruction of SUP & Windsurfing would also be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promoting and selling Red Paddle Co and TSL’s products across the UK.

  • Responsible for all aspects of the sales process and driving sales to achieve individual sales targets.

  • Manage and maintain B2B client relationships, identifying key areas within B2B accounts for growth.

  • Communicate effectively with all key contacts to ensure relationships are managed to the highest standard of professionalism.

  • Represent the organisation at events/demos that fall on both weekdays and weekends.

  • Research and identify new markets and business opportunities.

  • Produce monthly sales reports looking at product performance against targets and forecasting future performance.

  • Maintain an excellent level of brand and product knowledge.

  • Strong emphasis on visiting and managing UK Watersports Centres and Schools.

Person Specification:
  • Experience within the Watersports industry, ideally within Watersports centres.

  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Good understanding of the sales process.

  • Excellent organisation skills, with a strong ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • A very strong communicator with good presentation skills.

  • Ability to establish trust amongst clients and seek to build long lasting commercial relationships.

  • A good team player, collaborative.

  • Hands-on approach, the ability to use initiative.

  • Passionate about the products and the industry.

  • Strong IT literacy.

  • Analytical and numerate as well as a strong problem solver.

  • Clean drivers licence essential, ability to travel across the UK.

  • Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Watersports Centre Instruction: 1 year (Preferred)
