SUP - Surf & Race
Marie's passion for watersports began in her childhood with family sailing boat outings, fishing trips and belly boarding!
At aged 16 Marie was taught windsurfing by her older brother.
With a natural flare for competition, Marie started windsurf racing at her local club and within a year was competing at a national and international level for the National youth and senior Olympic squads. In 2007, after jumping on board a SUP for the first time Marie's watersports passion spread to stand up paddling.
Over the next 10 year Marie's dedication to SUP has driven her and kept her at the top of the ladies SUP racing and SUP surfing disciplines in the UK. It has also taken her across the globe, competing successfully for team GB at the last four consecutive ISA World Championships.
As well as watersports, Marie works as a physiotherapist and also has a passion for photography and outdoors/marine/wildlife. When not on the water Marie enjoys trail running, pilates and yoga to keep fit.
