Wave / Race Windsufer
From east Cornwall, Louis learnt to windsurf at Siblyback lake from the age of 10. Before long, Team 15 had him hooked on racing.
After a few of years racing in the Techno and RSX class’s, Louis switched to Raceboard. Since then, he has finished 3rd at the 2013 world championships and been 2x British champion.
He enjoys developing talent and bringing new people into the sport, having worked as a racing coach and president of the University of Bristol Windsurf club. Louis is a keen wavesailor, having gained experience on the Student Windsurf Association wave series, he won the Tiree Wave Classic Amateurs in 2016.
He will make his debut in the BWA pro fleet in 2017. Alongside studying for a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Bath, he continues to race and chase the best wave conditions that South Wales and South West England offers.
