Windsurf - Slalom/ Race
A very keen and enthusiastic windsurfer who plays an important role within UK windsurfing. He is a former military man who’s been instrumental in the racing, coaching, development and team management of the Army Team & Combine Services Team.
Nowadays you will see him competing nationally in Slalom and Speed. However, now living in the wave mecca of Cornwall he now has another discipline to get his teeth into.
He has moved over to Severne to assist in establishing the premier sail brand within the UK. It is probably his vision and dedication to the sport and its promotion at all levels which are some of Allan’s best attributes. Many will know him as the man behind the NWF brand by spreading the love of windsurfing to the UK masses especially the intermediate ability.
He is highly regarded as an industry ambassador by uniting and collectively working with the industry on projects like; The National Watersports Festival which is now in its 11th year which will see it being hosted at Rutland Water this year.
He also holds the appointment of Team Manager with Tushingham Ltd and responsible for all riders development across all brands.
Secured 22 Army and Combined Services titles in Formula, Slalom and Speed.
Competed in the London indoor boat show
Formula World Championships in 2003 & 2005 finishing 5th & 7th master.
5 Years on the UKWA Exec Committe
Awarded 2006 National Windsurfer of the year.
