X-15 - Multi Cam Speed/Slalom Sail
Speed is back; with a number of riders now looking for specialised kit to record super fast times at speed events, or by using the latest cool gadget, the mini GPS recorder which can be worn on the wrist. The X-15 (named after the world's fastest plane) is our latest 'state of the art' speed machine. Designed without compromise for big winds and maximum speed it features; 8 battens, 5 cams and a very low drag, light feel. It won't pull your arms out of their sockets as you may expect, but its slippery foil shape will keep accelerating as long as the wind keeps blowing and you keep your nerve. For 2006 the X-15 gets full 'Airframe' construction for increased stability and durability together with a lower overall weight. The flow-shape has been refined over the past 12 months to deliver more low-end punch and a slightly less rigid feel. The X-15 now delivers more performance in gusty and choppy conditions but still has an almost unlimited 'top end' speed!
