The S.U.P. Crossover

In very light or calm winds the SUPers are excellent Stand Up Paddleboards, stable and easy to paddle. With a little breeze, plug in a rig, engage the daggerboard and they’re stable, forgiving light wind windsurfers.

The fickle winds that sometimes plague the UK can leave windsurfers extremely frustrated, especially after a long journey to the coast. The addition of a SUPer to any quiver will ensure every trip to the beach will offer guaranteed action on the water and while it isn’t going to break any speed records, you’ll be surprised how much fun can be had in sub-planing conditions.

This is windsurfing back to its roots: accessible, great for kids, fun cruising around the coast, teaching friends or perhaps throwing the rig around in a spot of light wind freestyle. If there’s a wave, these boards will pick up even the smallest of rollers either in S.U.P. or windsurf mode.
