The holiday centres report that Futuras are regularly first to be cleared from the racks as customers select kit and hit the water. They’re suitable for all riders who don’t like to be overtaken, with early planing, rocket acceleration and ride over chop significantly more comfortable than full-on slalom boards. Unless you sail very well or over-powered like a racer, the Futura is as fast as a slalom board in most conditions.
