Starter/Progression Package

Not so long ago, beginner boards did not offer great value, with riders quickly outgrowing the limited range on offer. 

The Starboard Rio is stable for novices but still provides power for progressing windsurfers to get planing smoothly. It’s a fun, responsive shape that will remain a highly suitable platform for progression well beyond the early stages of windsurfing.

Two board deck options are available:

• Sport – lightest weight, “Startouch” non-slip deck, best price
• Tufskin – comfortable EVA foam deck, same hull construction 

This package is powered by the stunning Tushingham Express rig, which offers power, easy handling, durability and a very respectable wind range.
