Windsurfing is a diverse sport with a number of disciplines that overlap or "cross-over" considerably. Very few windsurfers stick to one of these elements; some wave sailors do a bit of blasting when there isn't surf, some freeriders dabble in some fun racing when an event is nearby and almost every windsurfer performs freestyle on occasion, even when others might call it a fall...

With the exception of a few specialist models, every Tushingham sail is forgiving and versatile enough to deliver excellent performance across a broad spectrum of the sport. Having said this, there is always a model that is best suited to your personal windsurfing requirements but finding it is not necessarily easy.

We try to present the Tushingham sail collection as simply as possible to assist the decision making process but more importantly for you, we also make sure that every size of every model has undergone a full R&D process in a broad range of conditions. We know at some point everybody tests the limits of their gear, whether sailing overpowered, being munched in shorebreak or simply asking a sail to perform a outside of its intended discipline. You can be sure at least one of the 2010 Tushingham collection will bring your desired blend of performance, quality and value.
