  As the name suggests, the RD 60 is 60% carbon, built with the premium Pre-Preg system. This durable Reduced Diameter wave mast is finished in classy natural silk carbon and offers superb value.
Most top wave sailors are using RD masts for their strength and performance characteristics. Until now, the only Tushingham Reduced Diameter offering was a 100% carbon mast, a stunning product but a little out of the price range of some windsurfers. The RD60 mast delivers RD strength and reliability at an extremely competitive price.
The narrower diameter of the lower part of the mast has a significant effect on how it will match the sail’s luff curve. We’ve made a corresponding adjustment to the mast’s bend curve, in order to achieve a perfect fit with conventionally cut sails.
